[Mk2] [Turbo] Whats it worth?

Post by jj2766 »

Hi all

Had my 2 for about 10 months now, looking at changing for something a bit bigger iv seen a few rangeys i like so will be going on the market shortly, How much do you think i should be asking for a 1995 rev3 Tubby? in red, tuned to around 300bhp? Its had a couple of probs which have all been fixed properly, including a new clutch about a month ago.
64k on the clock, cambelt was changed at 40000miles. has a CAT 1 alarm, and Trackersystem ( not activated ) HKS tubbytimer, and Turbosmart boostguage.

In theory id like over 3500 for it? is it worth that>?

Yeah I would say it is worth that. I checked your garage, does it only have 48k miles?? If so then I would try and sell for more then that providing all the problems are fixed and it's running well. :thumleft:

I would advertise for £4k. You can always allow for a couple of hundred being knocked off when someone comes to see it.
Make sure you polish it up nice and get some great advertising pics. :thumleft:

£3500 is realistic I would say. Tidy - stnd wheels - not sure about the scoop though..

Sell it in summer - boom - starting price £4500 easy. Great low mileage.

Good luck with the sale mate.
