Hi tony,
Have you thought about some raybriggs?
The reason i ask is that i have just bought a pair and they seem to be very good indeed.

well you can do that as long as you dont have an issue blinding oncoming traffic for the rest of the year.... they have a dip beam kicker for a reason.

Tony i saw a website not long ago saying they will be doing quad lights for the mk1 in the near future.... they say you will be able to bolt off bolt on in 20 mins,,, will be the same as the puma`s angel eye type lights.
will have a search and post site up here.

no that wont work

you could stick some tape over the dipped beam kick up like you have to for foreign trips but looks crap and probably not MOT friendly

Headlamps

Post by STURGE »

I ordered a set of the headlamps from U.S a few weeks ago. They have turned up this morning, Or at least a card from the Royal mail has, telling me I owe £13.38 for the Customs charge. There was no mention of this on the item description. The lamps were £14.99 plus £19.99 for postage and shipping. Plus a Customs charge, and by the sound of it they won't be legal either.
Not very impressed I can tell you.

..as with all items bought from abroad it is the importer's responsibility (buyer) to handle the legal niceties of bringing items into the country, not the responsibility of the vendor. The vendor's duty stops at despatchig the items to the buyer...
