Sorry the images were taken in the dark, I'll get some more emailed to those interested.

I have a MR2 GT T-Bar Turbo (used to be Paul Radbone's funnily enough!) for sale.

It's red, on a G plate, in good nick, well looked after, brand new 18" TSW wheels, needs battery and exhaust (though it has both - they're just not on an equal level in condition to the rest of the brilliant car!).

Turbo is spot on - average milage - forged pistons and uprated parts used on an engine rebuild many years ago. Had a new gearbox last year - car has been used to comute daily and is a spot on car - though it gets through fuel like my nan gets through bingo dobber pens.

Offers accepted - Car's in Stoke On Trent - Pick up is my preference though a drop off can be arranged at a price.

Not looking for much for it.

[email protected] if you want to email me.

Hiya mate, I've been corrected on the Rev before you know. The rear lights give it away I'll take a photo of the back end and the inside asap.

It's in good nick inside and out to be honest.

It's had £850 spent on the 18" wheels. It has a powerflow exhaust that was £450 a year or so ago but it'sw split on the fork. It has two 6" tail pipes and the weight with the stiff suspension just made it come off the bracket once and slap the floor. Needs a good welder to seal it up or a different exhaust.

The battery I can sort for the buyer. I start it every sunday and toy around with it on the drive but I've had my licence taken away booooooo so I can't do much more than that.

The owner of Jap North West used to own it and he spent a fortune on an engine rebuild many years ago. It's well run in now and I bought a recon gearbox about 18 months ago. 5th and reverse just disappeared on me once. Rather than fixing that I decided a recon would be better.

At the time I had a Celica GT4, Corolla T-SPort, Mitzi Spacewagon, The MR2 and a road legal quad and an apprilia RX127 all on the road, insured and driven weekly. So it's been well looked after and I am gutted I wont be able to insure the little git when I pass my test AGAIN!!!!!

I'll take sopme more snaps inside and out in the day during the week.

The car is running fine and should be only limited to 320BHP by the fuel rail / rack. Apparently I needed to take the ones off my celica to push it up to 360 - 380 as they can send more fuel in quicker than the MR2 ones?!

I can vouch for it's speed - I've been in a few MR2's when I was looking for one and this certainly was one of the few that you really felt much more than just a turbo pushing it.

The engine has forged pistons, uprated cams (though the standards are not bad apparently), dump valve, slightly bigger turbo (never smoked in it's life - still shiney).

Please ask if you have more questions.

I've refused the guy who sent me a PM as he's a cheeky git, asked if I'd take £750.

I'm looking for around £2000 for it - it owes my about £4250 but I've never made a penny on a car and can see there are a few options between the 2 - 3k mark on ebay and on here.

You MUST see this car if you're interested, certainly if you know yourt stuff as you'd be able to point out it's mods easier than myself (engine wise).

Bodykit is standard except the front bumper which I think looks $hithot. Nothing more is needed to turn heads.

Hope this explains a bit more.

To add - the white marks on the bumper are from a drift session that I fookin loved! The car drifts like a dream. Almost every roundabout coming out of the bend you can floor it and can really controll it well. Though I stuck it's original wheels on it for drifting which had 235 slippy tyres on the rear and 215 on the front.

These now are 225 x 18 all round and only rub on the front when you're trying to send the back end out too far. So don't! lol

Rev 3's weren't around in 1989/1990, it has a rev 1/2 rear spoiler and I didn't think they did the rev 3 with different colour rub strips on a red car.

Unless its had an engine transplant it's probably a rev 1 from the looks of it.

He was looking for offers. I'm not looking for a car per se, but I'm always interested in little projects. Anything under 4 figures to pass some time heh.

Sorry chap, one of the most common mods is changing the rear lights on rev1 and rev2 models to the rev3 set.

If its on G plate then its a Rev1
