i had this too.
..i was told to load a pic onto the likes of photobucket and use the link...it worked for me.i still cant upload from my browser though.

did you try to upload a re sized photo to p/b...if so copy the direct link and paste it in your profile...not sure which space you use but if one doesn't work then the other one will..copying from browser isn;t working just now since that moron sabotaged the site...

click on your profile link ^^ top menu. scroll down to the bit that says

^^ Thats the bit to use to link to an online avatar - I had the same issue as you til I linked to a webspace off imoc
