only problems are;
small dent on one rear arch from car park bump
a few minor rust repairs have been carried out but final paint job hasn't been done professionally so when up close you can see it on the arches and a few other small patches.

good points;
despite mileage the engine is spot on and it keeps up with mine no problems

new discs and pads all round a couple of months ago.

leather seats are in good condition with no rips, drivers seat is from a MK2 so head rest is different to passenger, but seat itself is excellent condition.

it doesn't leak through t-bars

if i wasn't goign travelling at the end of the month i woudl buy it off him and lob a mk2 engine in, as the shell and underneath seem pretty solid so is ideal.

i've said that as it is at the moment, its an 18 year old car with 2 weeks MOT and almost 200k miles on clock so it's not going to get much more than 300-400.

I've tried convincing him to keep it, but new mortgage and other new car
