Excellent Remote start/Pager Hornet alarm system.
Stainless system,De-cat,cone filter.
Good points;
All exterior immaculate.
Interior very good condition.
New or recent Clutch-Cambelt-Pads all round-Front Black Diamond discs,
Tyres-plugs-distibutor-leads-Oil-filters.
Bad points;
The speedo packed up when the clutch was done.The speedo dial is ok and the gearbox drive has been replaced.Since fiddling with the wires to the drive the speedo has started jumping occasionally,so i think the wires were snagged,i will need to have another look.
Since the last MOT
(132000KMS) To the speedo breaking is 134000kms,and it has only done about 2-3000 since.So probably still only 82-85000 miles.
The only 2 marks on the exterior are shown in the picture on the drivers door.
NOW FOR THE MAJOR CHANGE.
Last weekend the car started breathing heavy from the crankase breather.
When tested number 4 cylinder is down 50 psi.
A GOOD LOCAL MECHANIC HAS SAID THAT THIS IS PROBABLY JUST A CARBONED UP OR SLIGHTLY BENT INTAKE VALVE.
AS THE COMPRESSION HAS NOT GONE DOWN ANY MORE SINCE BEING USED,IN FACT IT IS UP A BIT SO IS NOW 35PSI DOWN,SINCE PUTTING A CLEANING ADDITIVE IN WITH THE FUEL.
The car runs ok and the breather has been put back in its original place through the air intake system,the boost has been turned right down.
At worsed it could be a Piston ring broken or burned out piston,but ive been told this is unlikely.
I HAVE BOUGHT A NEW CAR AND NEED THIS GONE,IT IS IMMACULATE AND IS WORTH THE EFFORT FOR SOMEBODY.IT MAY EVEN BE NOTHING OR VERY CHEAP TO SORT.
