Proformace clutches are they worth it?

As above has anyone bought and fitted a proformance clutch and is it better than the oem equivelent? p.s if anyone has a new clutch for sale i would be interested my car will now not move lol

I'd rather get an OEM type clutch and a fidanza flywheel, than spend money on an uprated clutch.

It depends on the abuse you give it.

I'm a little hard on engines and clutches so live by them (cheaper in the long run).

unless you track it regularly and abuse it, you dont need one.

theres an upgraded plate on ebay at the moment if your looking

seen the plate on ebay think id rather buy a new one though since its supposed to be an ar$e to fit lol

No, not worth it just fit a stock one.

the only reaso to fit an uprated clutch is to transmit more torque so unless you intend on modifing the engine or already have to put out alot more torque the oem one is fine. i have a 445 ft'lb clutch on one of my cars and its not much fun to use from a standing start or around town/ everyday etc.
