130 000 miles, and still drives like new...

Just rolled over 130 000 miles on my 1992 UK NA this week, and the car still drives like new.

I do a 40 mile round-trip to work which is why the mileage is shooting up on my daily driver, but because it's nearly all dual-carriageway and I tend to drive like a grandad to save fuel (I easily get 35mpg+), I barely notice the high mileage.

Anyone have a SW20 with higher mileage?

149k. 52 mile round trip to work everyday. Except mine is dropping to bits..lol

178k! Wow - that is good going. And still looks good.

As a celebration of reaching 130k, I just treated the car to a wash and wax. You wouldn't guess it was 15 years old.

Have a picture somewhere of a dutch mr2 NA (3sge) with about 331.000km on it and no oil use (car crashed now)

So I've gota do another 28k to match it....? I'll report back in a couple of years.... Mine does use about 1.5 ltr of oil between services though. Still that's not too bad I think.

mines on 123k now and drives fine, well, its got a bit rough with the winter but the service next week should take care of all that
