The Good:Mechanically the car is very good, the previous owner maintained it meticulously and I have looked after it well in the couple of months I've owned it.
Lots of service history (large cardboard box, I've not looked through it all!). Recent cambelt (big job on these), plugs, leads, oil, filter etc etc.The car has been re-undersealed in the last year or so
& waxoyled recently. There is no rust on the bodywork, the only bit I can find is inside the passenger door shut on top of the sill, about the size of a 50p coin. Arches have previously been repaired using proper repair panels (I have reciept). Only ever been welded once, for the last MOT (bottom of inner wing by front n/s wheel).Dateless number plate, worth about
£450 according to various websites!The car has one or two modifications:
Mongoose s/s exhaust
(not loud, just nice)Ramair panel filter
Braided brake hoses
(pedal has a lovely firm feel)14" BBS alloy wheels with 195/55/14 Toyo T1-R tyres new in the last month.
Sticks to the road like glue!The Bad (not much):There is some slightly dodgy paintwork on one rear quarter and the rear bumper
The gearbox is noisy, but still shifts fine, doesn't pop out of 5th etc etc.
Overall this is a very nice straight, clean and reliable example, in one of the better colours, so I'm looking for
£1600ovno, which I think if you've been looking for rust-free AW11s you'll know is a very fair price
