[Mk2] [NA] replacing clutch. How hard??

Post by richard cash »

Ive done a search on the forum and on google for a "how to" on replacing the clutch but couldnt find anything. Could anyone point me in the right direction or a short guide of their own. Its for a Rev1 NA. The clutch is slipping pretty bad now

well, for me there was only one step: take the car to 3S, and pay their spring clutch change offer rate (see affiliates forum).

but there was a post recently about some chap doing it outside his mates house with just a pair of axle stands.

if you want a step by step guide with pictures, have a look at this:

it's for a 1991 turbo, so you'll just have to ignore any references to the turbo bits.
