[Mk2] [Turbo] Installing Defi boost + water temp

got these coming from japan.

the water temp one scoming with an adaptor that fits into water piping sothat part isnt hard but how do i wire up the boost sensor one? im used to mechanical gauges not eleccy ones[/code]

I think they come with a sensor that plumb's in like a normal gauge i.e intake manifold.

Then the gauge is then pluged into the sensor.

Never seen em or fitted one but thats how I guess it would work

Its really easy, i have just installed mine, its just a wire from the control unit to a little black box (sender) that you mount as close to the source as possible then from that to the inlet with a tee piece and some vac hose.

If they are brand new they come with indestructions any way.

cool. just worried incase it came with Jap instructions lol. so its basically the same as a mechanical one in terms of plumb into Vac line but then this plumbs into a sensor instead of straight to the gauge.

which defi gauges are they Lu, do they need the defi-link in order to work, or do they work standalone ?

they come with the link control unit. its these ones.
