Why is there two of these?

Why have I got what seems to be two brake reservoirs? There is a large one attached to the brake servo and a smaller one attached to what looks like the brake distribution valve thingy.. I don't have power steering, so I'm not entirly sure what the purpose of the both of these is?

Perhaps someone can shed some light??
