Well time has come to sell the '2

Through no fault of the car-I love her but I need to fuel my addiction of drifting and need a proper skid car.

Lovely smooth drive as low mileage and gearbox is lovely and tight-the 2nd best gearbox i've used in an MR2 (and i've driven enough-the only one I know to better it was Franks Cosmosblue rev5-sorry its Rowlands now )

No smoke on start up or on driving.

I was told she's running about 260bhp but i cant be ar$ed to rr'd her to get the exact power output.

She has ran a 13 sec 1/4 mile up santa pod a few months back.

Standard alloys with good tread on rubber

New black leather gear gaitor and gearknob with yellow stitching made by Rhon

96,177km ( 60,110 MILES ) Jumvea certified (I have cert) from JP

the front bumper has been re-sprayed so not even a stone chip)


Ideally I would like someone to PX a R32 early GTS skyline but nothing else

Only minor probs with the car are the following

1)needs a new boot lock barrel as I had to break mine (long story-can be written on request)
2)Power steering can sometimes be a little delayed on initial start up-fluids are new and all fine levels wise-I was told It might be some sort of relay but tbh I haven't got time to look at it.

If I get the asking price I will also fit the fogs/black front mesh if requested.

Intercooler will only go on full asking price as does the strut brace.

I dont want to break the car though so please dont ask for parts-i'm gutted enough as it is...I've only had her a year

Let me have a think about what I'm going to do, if it sells before I make my mind up then no worries.

I just need to see if i can possibly get cash together to buy another mr2 without selling my n/a.

Its a nice car with nice mods, im sure whoever ends up with it will be really happy

What colour was the car before the respray?

If it was different has it been resprayed inside the doors, boot, frunk etc etc?

Also if you were selling without the strut brace, fogs, intercooler and keep the wheels standard colour...would you take £3500?

Just trying to figure out what cash I possibly need

Hey Rich-without the IC, standard strut on there (fogs are 1/2 fitted ) i'd take £3700-- these parts cost me £300 in total so I'd knock that off for you

I wouldn't get that back from the parts though i doubt but hey ho-if it makes the car more affordable you could twist my arm

The car was white--yes everything was stripped and professionally done-most on here have seen her in the flesh and the last '2 I had resprayed (the BEAMS) -top notch job (almost as expensive as the car)

Sorry I forgot to say-I've already got the paint for the wheels so thats just something to keep me from boredom at home lol...wont cost me anything-just a massive improvement

I have a nice wedge of money in the bank and I keep on looking at this car and debating the another MR2 / motorbike / travelling argument. Must resist! Great car people!

I'm not really in a rush to sell her-I got in her yesterday (the first time in over a month) AND SOBBED I am going to miss her and someone else is going to get such a good car!

If I could sell the bike before the car I would-but it's not cheap like this-its up for £7,500ono so I doubt that will sell first..if it does then its all good-I get to keep the '2

What is it with people at the moment????? I've had 2 people want the car, 1 has cash flow problems and the other has the cash but cant get insured

Do people not have brains anymore...

I am now open to SENSIBLE offers as she is just sitting in the garage. Its a waste of a beautiful car.
