[Mk2] [Generic] wiper problem, fast wipe is slow!

i have had a problem with my wipers since ive had the car, it doesnt really bother me too much as there is rarely the situation to use it in.

intermittant and all its variables work, wipers on constant works fine but if i switch them to fast it seems to struggle and go slower? any ideas people?

Just a guess, as i'm no expert, but maybe the wiper motor is on it's way out, i.e. it can't cope with the extra strain of the fast wipe but is fine at slower speeds

Are the rest of your electrics fine cos obviously if your alt isnt doin its job then not enough voltage to run the wipers. Just check if your clock dims a little when ur wipers are running. This did happen to me. More than likely just the motor on its way out but just something else to look out for

yea all the other electrics are fine, must be the motor.
