




So I kept going to 14/15 PSI and left it there very happy.




Car was runnung fine for two days then I get a warning light and a knock sensor failure.




It appears that my car did not like the combination of a boost increase and a loose mikala clamp on the bottom of my IC, resulting in a blown knock sensor.


Anybody else heard of ths happening or am I just the unlucky one.


Checked the knock sensor but it has no strange rattling or continuity through pin to body.


Oh and will a 3SGE knock sensor do the job on my 3SGTE, co`s I tried one and it gave the same fault.
