[Mk2] [Turbo] rear diffusers

Post by RANDOMr2 »

i have a re-amemiya rear diffuser that i was going to fit to my fd before i sold it.

has anyone ever fitted a rear diffuser to a mk2 mr2? i cant find pics anywhere. the width of the diffuser looks like it'll be ok, but because my exhaust backbox runs the width along the back of the 2 it may make fitting it a bit of a mission.

i was just wondering if anyones done it before and if so, do they have pics?

this is a pic of the rear diffuser when i had my fd

i was selling it, but there was no takers on the fd:uk forum, so i was going to ebay it, then i thought, hang about, what about on the new 2...

it'll need some fettling (with a dremel) as it fouls the exhaust and the wheels but aside form that, considering its for an fd i think it'll go and look quite mental!

£120? are u serious? if, maybe, i was so very skint that i couldnt afford to have a sh*t, then i'd sell it for 120, but it cost me 220  , then i sprayed it up in the gloss black. seems shame that im going to have to cut and play about, but i reckon it can be done with not to much hassle. i just need to have the balls to just get the dremel out and cut the bits i dont need

i'll keep u posted on how it all goes...but its like christmas here. just going to pick up a brand new hks ssqv, apexi intake and power xs intercooler from the post depot  but 1st im going to clay bar the paintwork

you do realise this will do absolutely nothing for performance without a flat floor and a few other odds and sods?

If you knew that why put a £200 piece of plastic tat on the underneath of your car? Isn't it the same as fake bonnet pins or Brembo stickers on your standard calipers?
