[EDIT]Ma new tubbaroo!!

Post by 2Crooky »

Bought this a month or 2 ago off skipp123 who now has Bry's old motor 8)

In a nutshell.....

Car needs a hella lot a work!! Mechanically it is perfect appart from a constant whining coming from the cambelt/air con area :-k Bodywork wise the car is in cr@ppy health with some of the panels being resprayed and resprayed terribly.....The whole car could do with a respray tbh but this doesn't really show in the pics.....Bits of interior trim keep popping off here there and everywhere and the boot lining is completely loose lol! :-s Dents are peppered everywhere on her but instead of getting these removed i am just replacing parts directly......Carbon bits mostly  There is also an alarming click coming from the passenger side front suspension :?

Found out that the cat element had fallen to the mouth of the exhaust connection :( Plus the flexi had a mahoosive dent in it restricting air flow and all my original plumbing was still plugged in with the MBC in place. Car was underperforming looads......Skywalker mounted the new gubbins to my rev 1 including a blitz decat pipe

Now for the good bits......

NGK iridium grade 7's
Magnecor leads
HKS Mushroom filter(pants actually lol )
Turbo XS BOV
Blitz cast decat pipe
Apexi N1 exhaust
xxxx MBC set to 1bar
Fuel Cut Defender
Tein HA Coilovers
Toyo Proxes T1-R
Swoosh boost gauge (cheap....funny....BRIGHT!!)
TRD Gearnob

Moooooooore to come....Will be changing monthly at meets \:D/

PS Rev 1/2 lights look so much meaner than rev 3 lights, in my opinion anyway 8) :D :thumleft:

The Turbo XS ain't that bad lol.....It's just temporary for now but works absolutely fine :|

Cheers martin :thumleft: You coming to the next Guildford meet?????

Decided om turning this car into a 'racer' rather than a show car so goin with some black alloys and greddy sides for the exterior.......Oh yeah and lotsa lotsa carbon goodies  Not to mention 400rwhp rebuild over the next 24 months 8) =P~

Not even sure if the colour is stock tbh.....

It has been resprayed in parts a few times.....Sometimes it looks green, other times blue, metallic mix of the two lol :-k I'm just guessing it's aqua marine 8)

I've lost interest in "in ya face" kits. Gone for the stealth look. black stock 15"s and a subtle kit that keeps it looking like a standard MR2 from a distance.

Best way IMO. :thumleft:

The car starts out with a slight hairdresser image so dressing the car in chrome and fancy bits doesn't float me boat :? Personal preference i guess......

Getting my mits on some Rota Force 17" matt black with red pin stripe lip :-s \:D/ and a stock rev 3 front lip.....After that it's just some buckets and carbon panels. Trying to save humping too much on the engine at present as i'm only 20! Insurance!!
