Quick couple of photos of my Mk2 taken today

Post by Deegee99 »

Swapped the front indicators for crystal black, took the import plate off the front to make it look cleaner. I just love the retro look of the stick on plate, not to everyones taste I should imagine but I like it. Waiting on my rev 3 15" wheels to come back from my painters (202 Astral Black), got a few more bits coming in the post, its like Christmas again :D Also waiting on my leather seats to come back from the trimmers :P

What it looked like 2 months ago. Neglected and badly broken after being crashed 4 years ago and sitting in various fields and muddy farmyards.

Before anyone says it yes I do want to lower it, just waiting on the wheels to come back so it looks right. ](*,)

Hi Dan, yes mate I paid £600 for it, kinda, I just did 30 hours work welding for the guy who owned it, all in my spare time ;) Got the wing and toblerone for free, bought another MR2 (UK) for £150 and took all the suspension off it for the front end, shocker, plastic inner wing, tie rod, tie rod mount, wheel. Got a brand new ashtray with it plus Kenwood head unit, K and N filter. Sold loads of bits off it, made my money back. Still got loads more bits to shift. Happy happy joy joy :D

Red, I have tinted rear lights and flush centre panel in the mail to me now, can of tint for toblerones to be picked up tomorrow, weird, :-k

Lights arrived, no problem there, but....... centre panel arrived in 2 pieces, badly bodged up from a previous problem, other cracks and a piece missing plus a deformed lip. ](*,) Should have bought a new one first off, would have cost me less in the long run #-o

I think I've taken the black abit too far.

Tinted the red door hazard lights (still see them well enough),painted the seatbelt release, taken the orange stickers off of the interior door lock, color coded all the visible wires black.......everything.

Still got clear front lenses and side indicators though............might leave the front but I think the sides will go.
