. . . she would make a lovely project for someone or could be broken for spares.I drove this car on a daily basis until about two years ago when it failed it's MOT.
It's been parked up at my Mum's ever since - I planned to get her fixed but it's not going to happen and my parents have had enough - she's got to go!I'm not too up on the technical side, but it's a C reg, red and the 1.6 engine.
The interior is in excellent condition and the car is all standard, she's had lots of lady drivers so she's been well looked after! The work it needs if someone was to repair it includes:Front wing
- replace / repairWelding of the sills
/ part of the floorFront disks and pads
(I have the pads and will sell with the car obviously), plus some pipes and at least one of the handbrake cablesMaybe a wheelbearing or two
One of the rear tie rod ends and maybe more suspension bushes.
Needs a new battery
I would think it will need new tyres since it's been sat for a while.
I had a new exhaust fitted to the car just a couple of weeks before it failed it's MOT.
It's also got two brand new rear shock absorbers, one is fitted and one's still in it's box.The car is in Sheffield, I'm hoping to get some piccies of it in the next few days so if anyone would like to see photos please e-mail me
([email protected]). The car doesn't start (no battery - it did start first time until the alarm drained all the life out of the battery and we couldn't get it to recharge!!). If anyone has any more technical Q's just let me know and I'll ask my dad!!! Viewings are also welcome.Price wise I don't really have a clue, to be honest I just need to car moved now so you could get a bargain!!
