Volk wheels sold, black rev 2's fitted.

Post by craig »

I have now sold my white Volks to Julian (cheers mate :thumleft: ) and have refitted the black rev 2 wheels fitted with Toyo T1R 225/50/15 rear and 215/50/15 front.

The front end now scrapes on just about everything resembling a bump in the road

a couple of pics after a wash. I have also fitted 5mm spacers to the standard wheels to push them out a bit more. The ride is so much smoother with the 15"s on! :)

Enjoy 8)

:D glad i could be of service mate! I think that colour coding them makes the car look a whole lot different and very 8) , i see your car is lowered...it looks very mean  gives me a good idea of how mine would look, i think thats the next step for mine but im worried about clearance over speed bumps etc with the stock bumper and splitter :? What mm are your springs if you dont mind me asking?

Cheers man :thumleft:

It is low especially at the front, here is a pic:

the Apexi springs, I believe are -60mm.

The underneath of my front bumper is cracked from speed bump abuse (can't see it unless you look underneath)

that is pretty low! Thanks for the pic.

That bumper looks awesome though! I think ill go for about a 45mm drop when i finally get round to sorting the suspension so i may be able to clear Some speedbumps! Ive recently had my front splitter refurbed and painted so hopefully looking not to crack it anytime soon!

i think im going to keep the standard look for the moment and lower it, i think it should look 8) when its done. Do you have any probs with your Flexi catching on any humps or bumps? Thats one thing that worries me when going over things!
