The Beast's little brother...

Post by EarL »

Well, here he is. Nicely ensconced in his new home. :D

Colour me pink and call me happy :thumleft:

Needs a little TLC, but nothing I can't handle. The bodywork has already been booked in for next week. Also needs a new alternator (bearing is rattling its t1ts off), and the exhaust (full Magnex stainless) is blowing at the manifold. After that, it's all plain sailing.

Drove it back from Gloucester this afternoon, and the drive (apart from the rattle) was pretty much faultless. Kept up with my mates Peugeot 407 Cabrio.

Congrats on the new addition to the Familly. Many hours and many many more pounds, and I suspect you will have another shining example to us all.

No mate, it's going up to Mr Woods shortly to have all the bodywork restored, and a little fettling. Then it'll be my daily driver....

...a nice big V6 daily driver.

Looks like a good Mk1 Earl! :thumleft: Lol @ Limey2, just hope you don't have the engine issues I've had.

If you're stuck for an alternator I've got one, bought about 3-4 years ago (recon unit).

Any suspension mods needed/planned?

Well I was going to call him "Rusty", but compared to some, it's pretty clean.

Suggestions welcome though.

Yes, quite Alex.

Seems hard to think that it's 20 years old when you drive it. It really is, fresh as a daisy.
