The exhaust was off within 20mins, out came the hammer and chisel and 20mins later my cat was gutted 
low down torque seems to have stayed the same, the mid range seems to have suffered a little but then it revs alot quicker from then on. [-o< =D> 
£50 and you could have refitted the cat come MOT time as august 1992 cars and on need cats to pass the MOT, your profile says you have a 1993 car.
