Hi guys,
It's time to sell my tubby. I've had it for the past year and it's been 100% reliable and a great car to own. Reason for sale is that my mate is selling his MK2 Golf 1.8 turbo conversion which I've wanted since he built it 2 years ago.

Details & spec on my MR2:
- 59,500 miles
- Very healthy engine running 12psi
- Dump valve in picture has been replaced with standard recirc
- Interior is in great condition (pics to follow)
- genuine RAYS 2piece deep dish rims (16x8 rear/16x7 front)
- Lowered suspension (new drop links and track rod end)
- Mongoose exhaust
- HKS mushroom filter
- Dash mounted boost gauge
- Full service at local Japanese specialist 54,500miles
- Gearbox oil replaced with Redline LSD specific oil
- Cam belt changed at 46,000miles

The near side suspension top mount bearing is noisy and needs replacing.
I can get this done before the car's sold if the sale price is right.
As seen in the photos, there are a couple of small dents behind the drivers door but nothing that couldn't be sorted easily by a body shop.

- MOT until November
- Taxed until June

Im going the other way mate ,i sold my 1.8 20v turbo mk2 rallye a couple of months ago n im searching for a rev3 turbo.A mate of mine has a 20v mk 2 thats on You Tube

I've been looking at MR2's and saw your one on pistonheads. It looks fantastic, but unfortunatly is a long way from me else I would have been along to check it out

Hi mate,

Really liking your 2.

Ive been a guest on here for over a year, and when i seen your car i thought i could be tempted to swap over to the mr2 world.

Are there any other known problems with your motor other than the noisy bearin and the dents behind the door?

Just that it would be a hell of a treck down, just to find a problem and have to head back to glasgow.
