Our TRD MR2 before after and some recent photos

Post by lehem »

Thought i'd better post some pics up as we have almost had it a year....

Mr2 Turbo T-Bar with TRD wide arch kit fitted

Previously a Max Power car, we bought her looking like this:

A few ££££ later and she is now looking like this:

You cant really see how bad the kit was in the first pic- but it was full of ripples, so we had it sorted, and the bump strips and handles taken out too.

When the pics were taken it was quite a dull day :( The paint usually looks bright yellow, its Lambo Yellow with ice pearl, will get some sunny day pics up....when we have a sunny day.

Still not finished, waiting to get it lowered, its sitting on 8.5" fronts 9.5" rears WIDE 18"s, thats big for a lil MR2 lol

I know alot of people wont like the REV 6 lights, but wanted to be different,as every TRD has REV3, which looks lovely, but with the style we have gone for i think the REV6's look decent, and different.

Also the spoilerless look-either you love it or hate it-some days i think of ordering a TRD spoiler-other days i love it as it is

Once its lowered, thinking of selling her 8) Not sure what would replace her, always wanted a TRD. :pale:

I know its not gonna be to everyones taste, but we like it :D

I was always under the impression that you couldn't polish a turd... you've shown me I was wrong

(Sits a little high for my taste though)

ticks all the boxes for a great looking 2 (yellow and TRD  )

I'm with toni - this combo has passed through my head so many times!

Would be good to see this one in the flesh at some point this year!

Good work :thumleft:

i'm shocked ! normally i don't like the rev 6 lights ... but on that widebody they , hell, they look good ! Think the colour helps with them too, having that darker section on the back.

Great look, pretty individual.

Not keen on numberplate typeface though.

Rev6 light really suit the car. Great effort money very well spent.
