[Mk2] [Turbo] Suspension Set-Up in the South West

Post by jannerboy »

guys,

the tein super street kit and other parts are now on my 1992 turbo.
can anyone recommend where to go to get a full suspension set-up in the south west of the UK.

Micheldever are along the A303 from me so that could be an option. Do they know the MR2 well???

It needs ride height and all other settings sorted so just want to take it to someone who knows our cars well with set-up for fast road use...

thanks.

Just finished fitting mine too! - another Southwest Mr2 :)

You could take it to Proton Tyres in Bristol (bottom of Two Mile Hill) who have all the equipment to do a complete wheel alignment check and adjustment - but Im pretty sure thats all they will do...

As for ride height - Its really up to you to decide! - Me I have the fronts wound right down - with the rears set up with 12mm to spare...

Hi Brian,

thanks mate, I'll give them a call.
We'll sort the ride height out first.

Micheldever should be able to do the job.

Brian - do you mean ProTyre? I've had my geometry checked (and adjusted) by them. I've got printouts of before and after, and they were happy to discuss the settings I wanted rather than just putting them to book values :thumleft: As you say, I'm not sure if they would do anything with the ride height.
