Rallycross meeting @ Croft today Evo 3's racing....

Thought I'd wait till this morning to see if te weather was ok, and it is, perfect for Rallycross.

Anyone fancy popping along - could meet @ Scotch Corner Services. The racing starts at 12.00pm and finishes about 5pm.

I wish I had read this earlier, I would hav met up with ya.

I went with a couple of mates, twas a good day.

There was a smart mk1 competing with a little sticker on the back sayin summat like "little jap cossie eater"

How did the mk1 get on during the day,
Did itwin any heats and where did it finish in the final

I couldnt tell ya how it did mate, tbh I didnt really know what was goin on as it was my first rallycross event lol

if I remeber rightly he was racing a golfvr6, sierra cossie, not sure what else there might have been a triumph TR7 and a mk2 escort but not sure

crazy racing like would definately go to anotha event like that, but i dunno where to find out when stuff like that is on....any clues????

No photos sorry, i wasnt really prepared. I did get one photo on ma phone of my mate's Capri parked inbetween a load of EVOs.

Just checked last weeks Motorsport News and the report in it says the MR2 came 4thin the final,does not say what car won but second and third where a VW Golf and a Subaru Impreza.
