LOL! Thanx Becci

Its soooo addictive, once you have cleaned one part you start thinking well maybe this bit would look good too. Before you know it you are running out of parts to clean lol.

Adding more bling too 8) Have a polished cross brace ready, polished induction intake pipe, intercooler or sorts and red samco hoses, not to mention spraying a few parts candy apple red =P~

Yep did the TB and manifold heatshield along with the intercooler piping 8)

Then used rubber and vynl(spelling??) conditioner on the other pipework.

However.................

I have just found 4 cracks in my cam cover and they have allowed oil to be splattered all over my engine bay :( Plus the engine lid catch that i just got fixed has broken again!!!!!!!!!!!! #-o

Seriously thinking of selling up in march so if anyone wants this i can give them the full spec with 12 months MOT and tax and a fresh service 8)

May be going down the 200sx route but i'm just soooo bummed out with this car now. I have spent 3/4 of my wages every month replacing parts either with OEM or aftermarket!

Thought you called me a hoe!! lol!

Took the intercooler piping off and got any cables or pipes out of the way. Took the manifold heatshield off fairly easily and polished it off the car with toothbrush first and soft cloth :) Throttle Body i first put autosol onto a toothbrush to get in all the gaps and scrubbed for england! Bit messy though cos everything goes black and splattered, wiped the excess off which gives you a slight shine to the throttle body but mainly gets all the xxxx out of the cracks. I then just used serious elbow grease and my index finger to polish about 8 times!

Even when it looks clean, polishing again brings it up more and more =P~

yeah i did leeroy, but i've ran out of the rubbing compound- & becacuse of the combination of finding it difficult to stop spending money on my beloved '2 and polishing compound being rather expencive, i simply have no pennies left to buy any

Well unfortunatly my lady had to go and now has a new owner :(

But don't worry he is an IMOC member who will take good care of her. I'm still trying to get to grips with the power of my new toy tho :-s

looks nice dude :D altho i would consider clear lacquering the parts you polish to stop them oxidizing (i think that is what happens) because basically they go dull and corrosion marks start to appear quite badly , unless you polish every 3 or 4 days!!

Hi Ryan,

Doesn't go oxidized that quickly, finished mine about six months ago, although everything was sanded smooth rather than just autoglymed.

Ducatichick

Understand the polishing fetish but rubbing compound should cost £2.50 a tin and autoglym/sol about £4-£5 a tube. Go to a local car parts shop, save you a ton if you're shopping at Halfords.
