Post by MR2TwinEntryTurbo »

Im Stuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im painting my mr2 tomorrow orange and i currently have no seatsfor the car. I sent my half leather mr2 seats to the trimmers she repaired 2 bits and now wants 500 quid.
So i said screw that and now im looking for some aftermarket seats and a good/cheap trimmers o get the trimmed at.

I was looking at a set of porsche seats on ebay but how hard would this be to actually make them fit. Has anyone ever tried this or anything like this let me know thanks dave

hey. thats well expensive! who was that??

you could make anything fit if you have the time and skills. its all in making the frame and making sure the seats will physically fit in the car. my corbeau targas were a tight fit!!

if you get the some seats, look and the runners and see how they are mounted to the seat, weather its side mount or underneith.. 9 times out of 10 its undermounted. then rack your brains on how to get the runners to bolt/weld onto a frame made for the mr2.

also make sure that when the seat is in for trial fit that your not sitting too high otherwise you will get a headache eachtime you hit a hump
