I'd change your locks mate too!

Re: Car keys!
If theres no danger of anyone driving off with your car at night then what you can do
(if you can get into it) is take say the boot lock out and take it to a good locksmith who will be able to make you a key that fits the lock.

If you cant get into the car then break into it
- You'll have to sooner or later unless you find the key!.

source the glass first!

But dont do it yet.

Re: Car keys!
If you can gety into the car ok, then take one of the locks out and there will be a code on it somewhere, 1 letter and 4 numbers ISTR.
Take this code
(or the whole lock) to your local mr t and they should be able to cut you one from the code alone.
I had to do this a while ago when my key snapped in the ignition.

Re: Car keys!
cheers will do that cars open in garage, i m repairing the rear arches at the mo,
thanks everyone

Re: Car keys!
go to toyota with your chassis number and they should be able to match up your key.i have just bought two locks for my mk1 they sent them away to get them converted to my original key.they didnt need any key or old lock so should be able to help you.very reasonable as well
!!

Re: Car keys!
Dont know if its the same for Toyota, but when i lost the only key to my old Rover I just gave my local dealer the chassis number(took down my V5 and I.D.
) and they got my code from that.
Mights save some hassle?
