Matching boost sender to gauge ?

Post by enzomorales »

I've got what looks like an electronic sender unit (HKS) in the engine bay of my rev 3 tubby. Looks like it's plummed into the correct tubing for monitoring boost pressure in the engine bay. A 3 core cable runs from the sender into the cabin but isn't connected to a gauge.

Can anyone offer any advice as to how I go about matching up a suitable electrical guage for connection to this existing equipment ??? Cheers :)

Sounds like it could be off a HKS boost controller.

Any pics?

This is the boost sender (I think that's what it is anyway) I'm trying to find a compatible guage for....

A little searching around around this forum makes me think that electroinic guages are hard to come by and expensive compared to mechanical ones....even if I could match one up it looks like I might be best to just bin this sender and fit a mechanical gauge....anyone got any thoughts on that ?
