Any particular team or shots you are looking for? Do you want to see a specific feature?

hehehehe, i knew you were gonna have some

nope, nothing specific. i was just after something that would give me some history on what my trd mr2 was based on and how they looked in the flesh. if you've got any dvd's or anything to swap/ lend, then i'd be up for some of that :)

Some of the cars look a bit more like the 2000GT kit that others, towards the end of the life of the SW20 they got a little more extreme, I'll try to give you some samples of a few.

My favourite style - Momo:

Pic below shows older rear end:

Blue Advan, side scoops are a bit more normal but have that cool curve into the skirt:

Looks amazing in sliver:

And so on....

Sorry I'm bored now :)

Nice aren't they :)

That's what really makes the JGTC cars IMO - the huge wheels and the fact that they tuck nicely into the arches to give the car such a low stance, it would be hard to get a similar effect on anything used on a road and I'll be damned if I can find a decent solution to give that setup on track *and* a decent road setup without resorting to crappy airbag suspension or hydraulics.

I'm not sure what size wheels they use but the JGTC regulations 'limit' entrants to a 28" ;)

A quick look on the Japanese Bridgestone site seems to suggest that a lot of the cars use a 330/40R18 rear in the dry.

I've been looking into ways to solve this for a while now but unfortunately all the options I've found so far would only be suitable for a showcar rather than one that actually gets driven properly.
