Power Steering - Lighter on Rev2 or 3??

i've asked my local garage to do the conversion for me, so just wanted to know if the steering was lighter on the rev2's or 3's :)

ive herd that the power sterring rack is fitted in a lower or higher postion in a rev 1 to the rest,

does this mean that u can only fit a rev 1 pas,??????

no idea. mine is going to have a different conversion anyway as it hasnt got any holes or mounts, so i think any type can be fitted :)

When I had my Rev3 and my girlfriend had her Rev2 and running comparisons, I found that the Rev2 all round felt a lot lighter. At the time, I wouldn't have put it down to the P/S alone though as my Rev3 had all the side impact bars, ABS and stuff (but moon roof), but the Rev2 had T-Bar and aircon. I just though it was because the Rev2 had been more "worn in".

So it's possible the differences in P/S could have made the Rev2 feel a lot lighter I suppose :roll:
