Mongoose with decat

Hi. I have a mongoose twin exit on my tubby, sounds good, but i was planning on getting a downpipe to replace the cat. Which increases power and makes it louder right?

Has anyone done the same with the mongoose, does it make alot of difference? Pop and bang etc ..Sound clip would be nice

Before you say about the downpipe, yes I do have a boost controller and a boost gauge, so I can make adjustments

i have a mongoose and decat but they where on the car when i bought it - pops and bangs all over the place

Ok, thanks for the information quigonjay. I guess I will go ahead with it then, can anyone recommend a good downpipe that doesnt crack and will fit the mongoose catback? I have a 1992 Rev2 Turbo.

I have the Mongoose system. sounds nice
I then fitted a decat pipe , can't say it made any more noise but i got an extra 7bhp on the rolling road
almost forgot , it does pop and bang a bit which is nice
