knocking from front

hi guys

i have a rev2 turbo and have a knocking from the front, both sides but n/s is worse... i had the car on a ramp to check th ball joints and there was no play... the antiroll bar bushes didnt look to healthy and neither did the links? is a common problem for these components to cause knocking? cheers

Worn drop links commonly cause knocking. If they don't look too good this is likely the cause.

Could also be ball joints.

Check these by jacking the front of the car up and sticking a bar under the front wheel and try to lever the wheel up. If there's movement, the ball joint is knackerd.

cheers guys will def try the ball joint test, but def getting some new drop links... any ideas of best place for value?
