Blitz Wheels

Post by craig »

Right a quick question with regard to my new Blitz wheels. I figured I'd try em out see what they look like. I was wondering what the fit would be like. Here is some info from the advert I bought them from:

Set of 4 BLITZ 2 Piece Classic Wheels to Fit the following FC3s / FD3s RX7 、JZA70 JZA80 Supra、 , S14 S15 SILVIA/180SX,R32/R33 SKYLINE ,Z32 300ZX Etc Etc

SIZES:

Front 17"x7.0"+45

5H 114.3

Rear 17"x8.0"+51 5H114.3

Are these wheels a straight swap from any of the cars mentioned above or as Andy Jones says, will I need spacers?

Thanks chaps

The offset's are a bit high. The 45 on the front's isn't too bad but 51 on the rear is quite a bit. Mine are 35 front and 37.5 rear with 6mm spacers to get them to sit nicely in the arch. So you should be ok with the fronts but will almost definately want spacers for the rears.

Got the 6mm ones from halfords for just over £10 i think they were. Not the best way of doing it but hey, it works and they still sit central. :)

just wondering what size I'd need on the back?

You reckon I should be sweet with none on the front?

Check out mike jc's profile, he's running 45's all round i believe. So yeah, you should be fine at the front and with 6mm spacers on the rear that'll be 45 too so it'll be fine, just might not be sitting exactly where they'll look best.

Just watch you don't go too far, if you want more you'll have to get longer wheel studs. Make sure that the nuts have enough turns on the thread to grip the wheels properly still.

I'm going for 6mm mate, like yours to take it to +45 all round
