Pay a visit to your local scrappy NSEB and see if you can pick up a set of rebuidable struts.

There's usually enough motors in there to choose from.

I'm sure there was a motor in there with rebuidable struts last time I visited.

Tell the guy you want them for rebuild and no warranty and you should get them cheaper than usual.

Then you'll need to shop around for a set of Koni inserts and Eibach springs.

You may end up spending the best part of

£500 but you'll have a great setup that won't shake your fillings loose.
