Finally Fitted The Rest Of My Kit!

Post by KiwiMR2 »

Well I finally fitted the rest of the bit's in my Wardrobe. Im pretty happy with the results :P

All I need now are some decent rims.......I have around 12 sets of 18's comming from japan in about 8 weeks so I might keep a set for myself ;) I was a bit worried the stock rims might look REALLY out of place but the will do fine till Im ready. Also thinking about taking my Snorkel off for a bit....just see what it's like without it??

So what you chaps think??

It's ashame I can't get them to stick out to the point there flush with the kit......then I'd just keep them & powdercoat them black. Otherwise yeah...give's it a bit of a "tough" look I reakon.

And girls! (Toni)

Kit looks superb, the only things I would suggest would be:

1.) The larger TOMS spoiler that sits over the rear lip.
2.) The front fins for the side skirts.
3.) Definately keep the wheels, they look different in an original!

Other than that, great job bud! :compress:

Thanks :)

The lower only is my FAVORITE bit 8) If I got the top part I would be just like everyone else...i wanted it to look good but a bit different :)

The front fins for the side skirts.

I have them BUT I didn't like the way they leave a gap:

I wonder if anyone makes bigger rims that look the same as the OEM ones?? I mean there not an ugly shape or anything...surely someone makes the same sorta design in 17's?? I must try and find some :)

Im sure you can get some Lexus wheels that look identical to the stock wheels but are 17". Try posting another question on IMOC.

very nicely done, well done mate.

i think it will look perfect with some better rims on it.... black just doesnt do it for me as from a distance you cant see them too well :)

Thanks for all the feedback guys :)

My Snorkel is more function than fashion with my setup:

It has a top feed were the Snorkel comes into the engine bay. I will defintily take it off for a while though to see what it looks like without it :)
