Post by Billyboy1978 »

As per title went to put something in the boot only to be confronted by at least 4" water!!! Got it all dried out then, checked all the seals around boot lid and poured gallons of water over boot and rest of car but cant find nothing wrong?? Has anyone had this prob before or maybe an idea where it could have came from??

Cheers

I have a small leak in my boot..haven't fixed it yet but reckon i have traced it back to a rubber boot which threads the electics through from the engine bay. it's about half way up the back on the lhs as you look at it..if you have been driving in the rain a lot it could be chucking water at it?

Hi Billyboy

Had this problem when I first got my Tub and no one had any good ideas for me either.

Finally traced the problem to a blocked drain hole in the bottom of the rear wing where the inner and outer panels meet.

shoved a plastic tie wrap up from underneath and tha water came flooding out. I then washed out all traces of muck from inside the boot.

Been bone dry ever since!

Hope that helps.
