FINALLY! Pics of my car......finished!!

Finally.......its finished! Seems like its taken ages.
Bought the car in Dec looking slightly worse for wear!
Re-sprayed, and with Rev 3 goodies added.
Now all i have to do is get some new wheels!

Can't wait to drive her!

Hello fellow Essex person !

why do you feel the need to change those rims ?.. they look like split rims ?? - NICE !

if you don't like them cos maybe the gold spokes ? - maybe a refurb to a different colour ? - I quite like them actually !

Paint job looks good too !.. what colour is it ?. stock ?

So when are you coming on a "bluewater meet" so the rest of us can ogle the car in person and try and convince you that those split rims are GOOD !!!!

Oh and i like the cunning use of a dark screw on the number plate "Zoe" haha =D>

Thanks, although i'm not sure what to do about them, yes they are split rims, made by Equip. Thought about spraying the spokes graphite or even body colour, which is stock, its Dark Turqoise, but looks so different to how it was when i bought it!! Need to get some clear bumper lights too!

I wasn't aware of the Bluewater meets, when do these take place, regular?
Any other Essex meets?

I like the wheels! maybe better in a 17", but I like the style. Maybe just lower it?

Equip split rim alloys and you don't like them ?
hold on to them ! they are v v nice ! - yes Graphite with the chrome rims would look absolutely great !

There are 2 main meets in essex (apart from southend sea-front which I've never been as it seems a little boy racer ish for me ! (hey I'm getting old and crusty at 30 ! haha)

ok so Bluewater isn't exactly Essex but you know what i mean.. that one is from 8pm till late every second Tuesday (the last one was feb 22nd) - normally about 15 Mr2's - but loads of other RWD jap cars too

the other is the Halfway house pub - on A127 (by the turning for a128 brentwood (there is also a little chef there) - first sunday of each month typically about 3pm

also I'm arranging a good day out on 12th June : a Rolling Road day followed by the obligatory cruise down a12, across a130 and up the a127 to the aforementioned "halfway house".. so far we have about 17 cars going !

Hi,your wheels are WORK EQUIP's,quite a rare wheel.If you had them sprayed and then lowered your car,I think they'd look great

Thanks guys, i think i will get them sprayed graphite & keep them, not too keen on idea of putting 17's on her, but will definately get her lowered!

I know the halfway house, used to go to cossie meets there! Might see me at next one of those!!

How much did the respray cost you?

Respray was erm, free! Well, i paid for the paint but not the labour!!! My partner sprays cars for a living, so i managed to get her done at his garage. Looks much better than i ever imagined for a stock colour, was his valentines present for me!

Def need clear repeaters though! And i think i will get him to spray the spokes graphite!
