In the sunlight I seem to get swirl marks in my paint!
I use all the proper clothes etc. But find that in the sunlight I get swirl marks.
I have been told that Black doesnt have a laquer? is this true? is this the reason?
Can anyone PLEASE help as after spending hours waxing the thing im gettin peeved off
And is there a solution?
Cheers

Think I'm right on this....

Black is not metallic so no doesn't have a lacquer. But it means its easier for cutting!

All paintwork has light swirly marks - I presume yours aren't serious? You'll notice them most when the car is just waxed and in the sun cos the paint will be so clean and reflects any imperfections.

I also presume you washed your car well before waxing!!

Could try a little cutting or just live with it? If its serious then I'd probably cut it - just IMO!

yeah it's quality stuff. you cant usually find it at places like halfords. but have a look here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/ ... ducts.html

then put some NXT or gold class on and your car WILL shine

Yes, the scratch-x is like a T-cut so it will need waxing afterwards

dont polish then scratch x, because the scratch x will just take the polish off.

you could:

-Wash the car, scratch x, then wax
or
-Wash the car, scratch x, polish then wax

TBH i would just go straight to the wax ;)
