Pre Jap Show meet - Thurrock Services & Toddington Servi

Just wondering if any fellow Mr2 Turbo owners will be meeting in Thurrock Services (off A13) & then at Toddington Services (off M1?)

Last few times ive been to Jap Show theres always a large convoy going from Thurrock Services then moving onto Toddington and meeting more people.

ive got a couple of people coming from Southend...itl b nice if we could have a Mr2 Turbo Convoy on the way to the pod...its normally all scoobies...

duno if the NAs will keep up with the turbo boys but its such a big convoy i doubt anyone goes more than 70...so more the merrier mate...

what time are you meeting at thurrock??

Everyone should aim to be at Thurrock Services around 6.30am then we expect to leave around 6.45.

Next get to Toddington Services (off M1) around 7.45 and leave there around 8. and hope to be at the Pod near half 8...

I'm over the other side of the M25 - Guildford - so I'll be going clockwise up from junction 10. I think you're based in Crawley from memory, fancy meeting up in Guildford? I guess we could also meet at Leatherhead...?

Failing that, I'll be at the Toddington Servies just before junction 12 of the M1 for 07.45...

Is there a place close by the junction for leatherhead that we could meet? Don't really want to come too far off the motorway if we can help it.

Pease Pottage makes no sense for me, I would have to come South before going North again. If you want to meet up (I'll be with '2Crooky') I think the best bet would be to come off the M25 at junction 10 and turn left onto the A3 Southbound - at the end of the slip road there is a big lay-by. Its 30 secs from the M25 so would be pretty easy. It would be the best for all I think. Let me know... we can then meet others at Toddigton M1 too...
