booked in at hayward and scott - intercooler pipes & exh

Post by steve b »

For a NUR SPEC R copy but with increased silencing to make it no more than 96dB and an apexi hayabusa style tip, they said that should be no problem. Also getting intercooler pipes made, but wondering on one thing..

Where to have the BOV mounted, I'm planning on getting it put after the intercooler and before the throttle body, read on other car forums that this is a good idea because it reduces lag as the intercooler doen't need to be repressureised and the valve responds faster at its nearer the obstruction in flow, the throttle body. Does this make sense to people and can anyone see any down sides to this, still keeping a recirc BOV.

Cheers
