Well LOADS of people on here and on the supra forums have commented on it in the past how there is no way to prove the mileage is geniune unless the car comes over with full service history.

I am in no way naive

(or evian) so i do not think that every 10-15 year old car to come over from Japan only has 50

- 80k on them.

When i see a car for sale from Japan with 80-100 thats when i will start to believe the mileage is genuine.

My car has 100k on the clock which is a mix of miles and Km's adding to around 80k.

40 of them have been clocked up in the last 5 years during its uk life, i don't for 1 second believe that it only clocked up 40 from 1992 to 2001.

Now i would have to say there are going to be exceptions to the rule.

There are going to be genuine mileage cars coming over here but seriously, how many members are there here and what was the average reported mileage of each of the cars they own before they were shipped over?

IMO they are all clocked hence my statement but obvioulsy there are going to be the odd few that aren't.

Out of curiosity, what possible reason would they have not to clock the cars? Aint no way of tracing it back so there aint no risk.
