just a few little bits i need help with

when i had the standard toyota recirculating vavle my boost guage was plumbed off the bit of hose which goes to the inlet manifold

now i have a xs b. o.v do i just cut the pieace of hose which goes to same place and plumb my boost gauge threw that again what do you guys think

one othe thing my car has been off the road for over 6 months now i started it up the other day and the electric ariel has jammed stuck i can hear making a noise any ideas how to fix this

My car's always had an HKS BOV on it.

But my boost gauge is plumbed into the small boost pipe up by MAP sensor (next to the diagnostic port).

This is where the factory boost gauge gets it's signal.

As for the ariel, it sounds like it's jammed up, but the motor is working. I think these have a clutch in them that will stop the motor burning out.

When the motor is trying to raise it, try and help it up by pulling on the end. Then give it a good clean with something like WD40 or spray grease.
