Bought a spare remote keyfob from Keyless Ride on ebay as I only got one keyfob for alarm/immobiliser with my UK 97NA when I bought it, and that seems to drain batteries at an alarming rate.

Keyfob came with instructions on how to program it but they are pretty vague to say the least.

Have spoken to two Toyota Garages and they reckon it's at least an hours work to do!!!!! I find this a bit hard to believe think they are just trying to

(FOB) me off as it's a non Toyota Remote Keyfob.

The instructions for programming say you have to press and hold the receiver programming switch button for three seconds.

Where is this located, in the dash under the drivers seat? How come that takes an hour???

Any help would be much appreciated.

I have printed instructions on how to program keyfob but they just seem to apply to Toyota cars in general

not the mr2 in isolation.
