1.6 bar boost??!! that sounds a bit too high unless its got aftermarket pistons etc.

Try and get boost down to around 1 bar or maybe a bit higher if its a later turbo.

I just got myself a MR2 Turbo. It came from GTiroc but i think i am done with nissans just now, i am on to bigger and better things. Just thought i would say hello and ask a quick question. Does anyone know about this car? It was purchased from dixons in dunblane and ended up in glasgow. I now own the car and its number plate was GXI808. Anyone know anything about it, it also has a bodykit and is red in colour. It has an AVA graph and is 190bhp at the wheels. It has an induction kit and a dump valve but it reads 1.6 bar of boost. Are these figures normal? Also do any of you know anything about this particular car given its description and registration?

Now some feedback, what mark/rev MR2 Tubby is it? The guys in here really know their stuff but they at least need a clue as to the car you have bought to give you any info on your bhp, boost settings etc.

anyway, welcome to the club, also you shouldnt be running 1.6bar, bloody hell, thats mental.....what turbo you got? internals? ic/cc???
for 190at the wheels that crazy mate, you should only be running 1-1.1bar on the rev1/2 tubbys......
im running 0.8-0.9 bar (13psi) and have 200 at the wheels....
1.6 bar is like 23psi!!!! you car isnt gona last long at those levels thats for sure.....

ok troops sorry bout the short hand am no good wiv computers an type wiv 1 finger thanks 4 ur possative feed back am a bit concerned as 2 why my gauge reads that my self a hope maybee my gauge is broke an it hasent been running wat its not ment to i still have warrenty with the car so ill get them 2 check it an hopefully dont have any problems thank you
