Anyone seen my old red, silver striped MENTAL turbo about?

Has anyone seen my old MR2 turbo about?

It's the Red 89 GT Turbo, with a silver stripe, and Mental up the side in big white letters.... Went to auction after it slipped off the road and down a drop on the 'Cat & Fiddle', was bought and fixed up by a garage (Coventry I think), but not heard of it since....

Ya know, I swear I saw that on the M6 in December... can't remember now, but that silver stripe rings a bell.

Allan Farrimond (Fazza) had an NA in that colour scheme, but without the lettering or bodykit (but with a big aluminium spoiler).... if it was the M6 between Manchester and Preston, then it was probably that one.

The skirts were MRD ones.... Sorry, I'm sure you'd hoped for a cheaper answer!

I once saw your Silver rev3 Turbo on a trip up to MRD many years ago.
How come you sold it? It was one of my favourite looking MR2's to date!

The silver car project had many problems, and while it looked good (looked considerably better when I took the stickers off), I had no confidence in the build. I was also at a point where I needed the money, but I think I'd have sold it anyway, whether I needed the money or not. That was one of the few cars I was glad to see go.
