Essex Rolling Road picture/comment thread

Post by axisofunity »

I had a great time at the RR today, was nice to meet some of the people from IMOC and beyond.

Sadly I had to leave early and also sadly I only made 160.9 but was partly due to an ignition problem.

At least the car didn't blow, so here are some pictures of the day.

I'll second that, Thanks Frank and others (BENF videoing) etc, etc, that played a hand in making it a great Day.

Some Lovely cars there, and great to see them in action.

cheers

Another great and well organised day, well done Frank and the guys at engine advantages and I think Nick desreves a big thankyou for running round checking peoples timing for them =D>
Some great results were had today, with about 10 to 15 cars making over 300bhp  The best moments for me was seeing Frank jumping up and down with joy at his results  and the figure that Nick got on his rev 2 with standard fuelling and ecu 354bhp

What a fantastic day

Well this was my first imoc meet and what a great day. Some really great looking cars and nice to see the members and put faces to names!

Was cool to have such a greta convoy up there and the weather held up with some great sunshine glinting off the convoy as we all went up there!

Saw Some mega machines in the flesh and was a great buzz watching the RR.

I had great hopes for my car copnsidering I had mine converted like Franks, but Unfortunately my car was way down on power and my dyno looked more like spaghetti thrown on paper

Great to see ya all and hope to meet up again,

Well done & a big thankx and thumbs up to Frank & all the team at Engine Advantages for a superbly organised day! =D> =D>

what can i say - i was HAPPY ! - i even bashed my head on the underside of the Cossie as i was jumping up and down with joy !

as Bry says BIG thanks to Nick for checking my timing and putting it right... :thumleft: =D>

well happy with my "SAFE" figures now - and think Bry - those figs of mine (second time round) were only recorded after THREE runs - if it was not riding up the rollers and i could have had 1 fresh run i think my power and Torque would have been even more - cos as you mentioned all the CC'd boys were down on their second runs - so what must mine have been down on its THIRD !

well happy !

Glad everyone enjoyed the day - i think the sticky numbers went well - meant i could roam around and enjoy it too :D

Ps - everyone knew i was "retarded" anyway

might just like to add that Nick himself has carried out extensive internal work to allow this (he's a clever man... helps when you actually work with these cars for a living  )

top Job Nick ! =D>

oh yeah ! \:D/ forgot about that .. I must get me an EBC and set it to 1.2bar instead of the 1.05 that showed on my Defi after the third run (technically FIFTH! )

Cool meet guys, Shame i couldn't run but they'll be time enough for that. Piccies and vids uploading at the mo, I'll post the link soon.

Some good numbers today, people are really starting to push the power on mr2's, finally dispensing with old myths about having to run mega engine builds to push reasonable power!
