5th gear sync gone - any tips? (Pics inside)

So 5th gear sync decided to destroy itself and just my luck the flying bit went through the oil channel on the casing.

So im after an E153 5th gear cover / case end, if anyone has one drop me a PM

Anyway it looks to me like the gears and fork are all good. I will check more once the sync/mesh is off.

Any tips? Its a rev2, gearbox manufactured may 92. I must say its a breeze doing this in situ on the kitcar.
