I'm not convinced that head unit is from a MK1, the wire colours don't match any of the drawings or manuals I have, so not much help there I'm afraid, I have a few more drawings to check but not too hopeful
Also struggling to match up the harness colours to any of variations I have recorded
These are some of the variations I've come across

If you have access to a test meter them most of the harness wires are relatively easy to identify,
With everything including ignition off

put the black meter lead to ground and with the red lead test the harness wires, one will have

+12v on it, note that down.

With the ignition on test the other wires, one will now have

+12v on it, note that down.

With the ignition on also turn on the headlights then check the green wires, on one of them will now

have

+12v on it, note that down

(that dims the stereo lights at night when the dash lights are on)
The other green will be the turn on signal to the sub amp under the seat
The speaker wire can be identified by lifting the speaker grill off the top of each speaker

(prise them gently and they will pop off) then you should be to see the colours

(you may need to unscrew the speaker and lift it out to get a clear view of them, they are often wrapped in foam)
